Health
Safeguarding your cat’s health is a priority to us. Only cats from the same household will be able to share a unit. Direct contact with other cats, even our own, is not possible, this mainly to avoid passing on (hidden) diseases but also to reduce stress levels as much as possible.
Veterinary Surgeon
The veterinary surgeon will do daily checks on all our boarders (included in the price), so in the event of an accident or disease, your cat can be attended to immediately. Incurred veterinary costs will be added to your bill and are payable at collection.
Even if your cat has become unwell or ill, with a non-contagious disease, just before you are due to leave, don’t panic; he or she is still welcome (after verifying with our vet) and will be treated and properly looked after in a special isolation unit where it can recover until it is ready to go in its chalet.
Vaccinations
All cats must be fully vaccinated at least 10 days before arrival against feline flu, enteritis and leukemia. Please bring your cat’s vaccination certificate as proof.
Health Check
We strongly recommend to apply some flea treatment (pipette) at least a few days before arrival. If however there are still internal/external parasites present during examination, a suitable product will be administered immediately and at your own cost.
Spey/castration
All cats over the age of 6 months must be speyed or castrated in order to stay in our hotel.
Basket
Please ensure that you transport your cat in a safe and suitable container. We can always offer the loan of a carrier for a small charge.
